It’s official: Uruguay formally accedes to the PCT on October 7th, 2024.

With this accession, Uruguay becomes the 158^th member country of the PCT, which will enter into force on January 7th. 2025. This is not just another accession; following Chile, Uruguay is the second of the four Southern Cone countries to join this treaty.
