The accession of Mexico (June 6, 2020) and Brazil (August 1, 2023) to the Hague Agreement has marked a turning point in leveraging international design, making it possible to extend the benefits of this framework to over 50% of Latin America’s population and GDP.

- How can I leverage the benefits of this framework to obtain international protection for my designs?
- Will the process of accession to the Hague Agreement continue in other Latin American countries?
- What adjustments have been made to the systems in Mexico and Brazil to facilitate design registration?
- Are there any other updates about this framework that I should know?
