ClarkeModet has appointed Ricardo Boclin to be the Technical and Legal Services Director in Brazil. Under his area, the company brings together both the technical and legal advisory services in Intellectual Property. The new director will join the company to lead a team of over 30 professionals that includes attorneys and specialized technical consultants.
Boclin is a renowned expert in Intellectual Property, with over 25 years of experience. Prior to ClarkeModet, he was partner with different IP firms in Brazil and he has also been part of the Product Development and Sales team in companies such as Coca-Cola Brazil, Krones, and Petersen Matex.
As stated by Claudio Castanheira, Manager Director of ClarkeModet Brazil, “the strong background and vast experience of Ricardo Boclin will strengthen the technical and legal services of ClarkeModet, which focuses on strategic advising and securing our clients’ assets are converted into competitive advantage. He will be responsible to conduct his team through fundamental challenges faced by our clients in a time where Intellectual Property is taking an increasingly more important role in the ecosystem of innovation and new technologies globally”.
Ricardo Boclin holds a Law degree from Universidad Estácio de Sá and is a Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Católica of Río de Janeiro. He holds an MBA from IBMEC and is currently a member of the ABPI Council and of the Intellectual Property Committee of ANPEI, in addition to belonging to various national and international IP associations, such as AIPPI, ANPEI, or INTA.
